Well, I finally got up the nerve to go and do it... My first -- and probably last -- tattoo! It only took two hours of excruciating pain for the guy to do it, but I feel like it was totally worth the pain and effort. He really did a great job of maintaining the tight details.

My 16-year-old daughter thinks it's cool, but after hearing about how painful it was, she's kind of backed off a bit on wanting to get a tattoo of her own (Mom breathes sigh of relief...)
